Part II: Case Study
Joe was recruited on January 1

, 2015, in "Tantapion SPLC", one of the biggest Simplified Public Limited
Company located in Bamenda to serve as a marketer with a salary of 600 000 FCFA. On the January 1

2018, he went late to his job and was dismissed. He is claiming 80 000 000 CFA to the company as special
and general damages for unlawful termination of his contract. The company is alleging that it is too much.
After investigations, Joe was informed that you have a good knowledge in business law that is way he
solicits your help in the following issues:
1) The nature of the contract he signed since tenure was not fixed in advance. 3Mks
