For each of the following grammatical categories, write down two sentences. In
each sentence, underline only the structure of the category.

Describe the role of the following in a sentence: subject, direct object, indirect
object, adverbials and attribute.
3.
Determiners are usually the first element in a noun phrase. For each of the following
types of determiners, write down two sentences in which you underline only the
determiners indicated by: Definite article, Indefinite article, Demonstratives,
Possessives, WH determiner, Negative determiner and Quantifier.
