FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION
SCHOOL: HTTTC DEPARTMENT: Computer Science OPTION: FCS
COURSE CODE: CSCT2102 COURSE TITLE: Fundamental theorems used in Electric circuits
LECTURER: Dr. TCHAHOU TCHENDJEU CREDIT VALUE: 3
DATE: 16/03/2019 TIME: 1h30 START: 9:30AM END: 11:00AM
Instructions: Answer all the questions
Exercise 1: Determine the current I flowing in the circuit of figure 1.
Exercise 2: Let consider the circuit of figure 2.
1) Redraw the circuit of figure 2 by replacing resistors with capacitors, R with C and Ω with µF.
2) For the new circuit, calculate the equivalent capacitance of the circuit.
Exercise 3: Let consider the circuit of figure 3.
The resistor R in the circuit of figure 3 is variable from 2 Ω to 200 Ω. Determine the maximum and
minimum current through it using Thevenin theorem.
