(a) Briefly describe how a wet preparation is made in the laboratory (2mks)

3. Occasionally outbreaks ofdiseases occur such as the swine flu, Ebola, fever and the outbreak may be endemic,
epidermic and or pandemic. The World health Organisation and Government generally take various measures to
limit the spread of the outbreaks.
(a) What is meant by (i) endemic
(ii) pandemic (2 marks)
(b) Name the virus that causes swine flu (1 mk)
(c)Give one measure that was taken to limit the spread of the swine flu (1 mks)
