1. Trace the historical development of Epistemology, paying particular attention to the significance of the major
problems discussed. (35 marks)

b) State and explain the various states of the mind in relation to truth. (25 marks)
3. “Skepticism is a critical philosophical attitude which questions the reliability of human knowledge and the
