3. Bih and Lum are sisters employed by Ndawara Tea Estate in 2009. They are entitled to a
monthly salary of 20,000FRS, not satisfied with the pay package, Bih in 2014 decided to
embezzle the corporation's money alongside stealing some palm nuts to resell later. Lum a
member of the vigilante group of Ndop Council, caught Bit with the nuts. The latter inflicted
a blow on Lum causing grievous harm. The employer on hearing this, dismissed Lum and
Bih. Both sisters have sued their employer to claim remedies for wrongful termination of
employment. Lum on her part is claiming remedy from the employer for the injuries
sustained. Discuss the legal issues and advice the parties.
