3. Compare and contrast between Dc and Ac transmission of electrical energy (10 marks)
4. Write short notes on the following (20 marks)
(i) Corona effect
(ii) Skin effect
(iii) Galloping lines
(iv) Ferranti effect
5. A 20 Ion transmission line operating at 13.2 kV has just been disconnected from the source. A lineman
could receive a fatal shock if he does not first connect the line to ground before touching it. Explain?
